Read a great story in yesterday’s L.A. Times that I forgot to forward along. This is a heck of an idea in independent baseball, and with as much as you all debate the lineup every day, imagine if you actually got to decide who plays and where!
Chalk this one up under great articles and cool ideas that you won’t be seeing at Dodger Stadium anytime in the near future.

Yeah Josh… thank goodness it won’t be happening here. But at least I’d like to think that we, as forum participants here, at least have a clue as to who should bat in the lineup. The ones that offer the lineup for that independant team obviously don’t know a thing about baseball.
The biggest problem I see with something like that is that the opposing teams will stuff the ballot box with the worst lineups….
