Today's game
Laptop went on the fritz last night, so there won’t be much more besides lineups the next two days. Have to post from the clubhouse computer:
Furcal, SS
Lofton, CF
Nomar, 1B
Drew, DH
Kent, 2B
Kemp, RF
Ethier, LF
Martin, C
Martinez, 3B
Lowe, P
Did Aybar’s defensive miscue cause him to fall out of favor, or is Grady concerned with how he’s hitting? I’m guessing he’s the one being sent down when Izturis comes up.
don’t the dodgers have an excellent, russ-martinlike winning record when aybar starts?
Two things:
1) Just wanted to say thanks to Josh for all he does to put these lineups up on the blog, and for leaving comments open.
2) June Batting Averages
Under .250
Furcal
Ethier
Cruz
Not bad (.250-.300)
Aybar
Saenz
Good (.300-.333)
Drew
Martinez
Kemp
Lofton
On Fire (over .333)
Nomar
Kent
Alomar
Martin
Billingsley
yes josh thank you for this blog. it is really fun to write down my thoughts, and listen to the thoughts of all who come here also. I have always wanted to let the dodgers know what I am thinking, and thanks to you it does at least seem to be happening. thanks again
“Although Izturis is a former Gold Glove Award winner at shortstop, Dodgers management is committed to Rafael Furcal at the position.”
Just wondering, who is covered in “Dodger management,” and is this a unanimous committment?
If that extra roster move is to send Kuo down to Vegas, is there any chance of trying him as a starter?
15 LOB!
Say it ain’t SEO!
How does seo Cook his Goose?
With a Walk…..
Pats… here’s one clue as to how committed “management” is to Rafael:
39 Million Dollars over three years.
Oh, and Josh…

: )
They just lost in the 17th !! The bullpen was great until Seo came in. Maybe my pick to the Dodger question “Who’s coming up next will come true !! Miller !! It looks like Seo is making it easier to guess who’s out next !! His confidence is shot. I know he’s out of options but I think he would accept a demotion to Las Vegas to work it out and I can’t see anyone claiming him off waviers.
Let’s re-group and pull one out today !!
Go Dodgers !!
Furcal wouldn’t be the first overpaid guy from the Dominican to make a position change this year . . .
