I have a feeling Aybar is gonna have a good day today. The line up looks pretty good.

hey josh, i was wondering if you could give me some information on jimmy rohan, and steven johnson. they where both recently called up to jacksonville. the thing that i took notice to is that johnson is only 18 years old, is he that good to be at AA all ready?.. by the way, any news on what the dodgers got back from the reds for cody ross?

BELIEVE IN THE PONCHO!

now mueller to the DL?! perhaps this nagging injury explains his poor play of late.

i didn’t think i’d see this lineup until sometime in september…

This IS starting to look like the lineup of the future, it’s only missing one of the 51’s young arms. hopefully this crew can keep the cheater from passing Mr. Ruth tonite.

The good news is that since it’s a knee thing, he won’t need Tommy John.

this is not the lineup of the future. this line up is missing andy laroche, joel guzman, james loney, blake dewitt, and matt kemp. thats the lineup of the future. and the lineup of the future wont have willy aybar in it. hes a utility player. and the las vegas arms are only chad billingsley. the other arms are greg miller, scott elbert, justin orenduff, blake johnson, jose diaz, and julio pimental. and yes, i did not count johnathan broxton because hes alredy up with the dodgers… well, this is only the opinion of this humble writter….

Aybar may surprise. If we learn nothing else from mad scientists who build time machines out of DeLoreans, it’s that your future has yet to be written. And if he can hit like he did in September, and then hit for power, we might have a player here.

There is a chance that the Dodgers might have more talented players than they’re prepared for, which may mean making trades to plug the gaps.

If it’s the knee, then Mueller will probably require the “Howard Cosell” surgery…

… “The knee, the knee… always the knee.”

Sorry…

As for Brad Penny: Why would Grady take him out of the game with a count of only 87 pitches?? …and throwing only five innings?? Hey, it’s not like the bullpen needs any rest or anything… so what’s another inning or two for Penny? Man, this managing stuff is really hard.

Grady is clearly still getting used to this pitcher-has-to-bat thing; I wonder who would be the DH. Brad Penny was taken out because Grady wanted to get Aybar in. In the AL, Penny would have seen 6 innings easily.

After having similar stats to Ryan Zimmerman of the Nationals, I expected the Dodgers to do the same thing and make Aybar the third baseman (.326 BA, 1 HR, 10 RBI isn’t bad), and Mueller’s injury was affecting his play.

After his 2 errors tonight, I am now even more convinced that Furcal is playing hurt and will not go on the DL until mid-June, when Izturis is called up.

has anobody notice how well we’ve been playing???

Ok, so Penny left with a stiff back.

When was Billingsley’s last start?

Incidentally, Adrian Beltre hit a home run. Gotta love it that he can get a homer and Bonds can’t.
