A new thread for the blog

For those who have been awaiting a new thread on the blog, my sincere apologies for the delay. As you might imagine, it has been a busy week and we continue to stay in touch with Bryan Stow’s family, as well as local authorities who are trying to catch the suspects.

Quite a bit has happened since the last post, with the news that former Police Chief Bill Bratton will be coming in to assess security and fan services from top to bottom, not to mention the focus being put on this by the city of Los Angeles and the LAPD, it’s clear that your voices are being heard. This blog is one place to share those thoughts and I can assure you that we read the comments and take the feedback seriously. For those of you who I have met personally, hopefully you realize the truth behind that statement and for those I have not, I look forward to doing so in the future.

Many have asked how they might donate to help Bryan’s family and here’s one way: there will be a drive-thru fundraiser on Monday with the Dodgers, AMR (Bryan’s employer), and our media partners KCAL/CBS, Prime Ticket, KABC 790 and Univision Radio, as well as the Los Angeles Times. Given all that’s going on, I have not had much of a chance to learn the tools of the new blog format but very soon, I’ll be back to updating just about every day as we have in years past.

    Well its good to see the Dodgers starting to deal with the security issues. Albeit, much too late. They need to deal with security the way casinos do it. They’ve got cameras everywhere and nothing goes undetected. And, if they identify you as undesireable, you don’t get back in. Its time for drastic measures to deal with a very serious problem. I’m hoping they have started the ball rolling toward getting it done.

        I’d rather Loney bat 2nd behind Ethier so Loney could see better pitches to hit but it not going to happen. I think them moving down in the order is not right and come on Loney would be ibb every chance he get lol

        LOL!! Amen Trumom!!! If Gwynn can get it done, it solves alot of issues. Plus, I like his defense in LF. You saw what Gonzales did in Colorado against us in LF as opposed to Huff against SF!!!!

    Andre Ethier is not a fan of PETCO Park as the Dodgers outfielder is a career .219 hitter with 2 home runs in 137 AB there.

    I know it was bad but didn’t expect these numbers from Ethier but glad he got that hit.

    Lighting, cameras and police in the parking lot with their cruiser lights on. So many times my family and I have exited games in the dark with drunk and rude people yelling all sorts of things. It would also be good to have better markings in the lot a la Disneyland, so people know where to go instead of roaming the lot aimlessly. I hope it gets better, it saddens me as a diehard fan to see this happening at a place I love.

    The thing about Martin’s sudden resurrection and Loney’s seeming demise is that I seriously have to question the quality of our coaching and player development. There’s no question that Martin’s performance deteriorated to the point where I no longer thought it feasible to keep him around, especially $5 million worth. That was then coupled with his injury, which suggested that he may never play ball again at a major league level. His early 2011 performance makes me doubt both our team’s medical judgments and player development. Both seem to be worth shiiit. Or is it a case where some of our young players simply don’t give a shiiit playing major league ball for this team?

    Hey, never posted this article, it’s only NorCal Sports Gossip from Monte Poole of the Oakland Tribune, but very interesting gossip regardless… pertaining to scenarios involving contraction of two MLB franchises.

    My first thought, after reading this, was “The Oakland A’s, REALLY?!!!” , scared that the big-market-money, small-market-spending would be a dangerous precedent should this scenario play out, but then my dad put it in a different light: “Yeah, but could you imagine what the Oakland A’s owners could do with money?”

    Rather than this mess of which we have no interest in watching, why not just say you’re rebuilding and give Paul, DeJesus, Ellis, Sands, Robinson and Gordon a try for the rest of the season to see what you’ve got? Are they honestly going to be any worse than what’s on the field now? Start trading away the rest of the PVLs for whatever you can get and start all over. I’d at least enjoy seeing prospects that may develop as opposed to journeymen you know can’t do anything.

      You’re right. It could have been worse. I feel the Padres were even a weaker team than ours and we should have swept them. If we can’t sweep a lousy team, just imagine what we will do against a pretty decent one.

    Can’t say I watched much of the game, what with the Masters going crazy…but I saw enough to wonder about Donnie’s love of the sacrifice bunt…and why most of this roster can’t execute such. Thought this team worked on fundamentals all Spring? All in all, a decent series against a woeful opponent. Maybe that’s what the Pods are saying, as well….

      I would love to go see the Isotopes play the Grizzlies when they come to Fresno. It’s the AAA version of a Dodgers/Gnat game. Both squads have some great players on the team right now.

        It’s one thing to be the cornerstone of the team, but Andre and Matt can’t be the whole team either. Right now there’s nobody to pick them up if they have a bad game or two. However, TGJ looks to be getting the job done for now, which is a pleasant surprise.

        I’m not sure when the results will be shown. I found the survey on the ESPN MLB Site. I hope all Dodger Fans fill out the survey as I’m sure it will show how bad Frank and Ned are doing. Not that Frank gives a sh*t or will do anything about it. He only cares about himself and his lifestyle and the only reason he is doing anything about the security issues is, because MLB, the county, and the city are forcing him!!!!

    Видел тут на форуме проскакивала тема по поводу похудения. Решил зерагаться и сказать, что мне лично неплохо помогло средство squeezy athletic. В яндексе можно найти продавцов

    это типа спортивное питание в виде порошка, который разводишь в воде (или молоке нежирном).

    Я на нем сбросил за две недели 12 кг (весил 98, щас 86) и продолжаю его принимать. На самом деле я такого результата никогда не имел, учитывая что напряга никакого нету. Может кто-то еще его использовал? Было бы интересно пообсуждать данный продукт, а может и еще что-то более действенное кто нашел. Хотя помоему 12 кг за 2 недели это не мало и наверно быстрее худеть будет просто вредно для здоровья.

    В двух словах могу пояснить как это работает. Squeezy athletic заменяет несколько приемов пищи (чем больше приемов пищи им замените тем быстрее будете худеть). А похудение происходит засчет того, что этот продукт состоит из медленно усваиваемых углеводов, т.е. как бы и насыщаешься им и калорий в нем немного, которые еще и медленно усваиваются.

    Je proviens de Cobourg, États-Unis. J’ai 26 ans et j’ai 3 très gentils enfants qui sont tous âgés entre deux ou 10 ans (1 est adopté). J’aime bien beaucoup les animaux et je fais de mon mieux de leur donner les accessoires qui leur rendent l’existance plus festive .

    Как помнят многие интересующиеся ФЗ-152 «О персональных данных» был принят в далеком 2006 году. Введение Закона в действие постоянно откладывалось, но когда-то он вынужден был заработать. 1 июля 2011 это случилось.
    Для нас (госконтора, приблизительно в 20000 персон в то трудное время) проблема поднялась в 2008 году.
    На начальном этапе не слишком здорово, однако потом вроде в сказке: «Чем дальше, тем страшнее».

    Первый этап — начальные Оргмеры.

    — В каждой бумажке типа Заявления появилась заглавие маленькими буковками (дабы оставить минувший величина бланка) — «Выражаю дозволение для необходимое использование моих персональных данных, в часть числе в информационных системах».
    — В Заявлениях для детские пособия было внесено дополнение про несовершеннолетних детей.
    — Также были взяты отдельные Заявления с согласием предоставления и передачи данных из других учреждений (Пенсионный Фонд, НПФ т.п.).

    Неимоверно обильно бумаг и весь мало техники
    Дальнейший этап — разработка правильной документации.
    Наступал 2009 год и было известно, который Правило опять отложат. Финансирования нет. Никто отдельно не торопится. Позволительно упражнять документацию. Вышестоящая контора дала образцы следующих документов:

    Рецепт о назначении должностных лиц, ответственных после защиту информации ограниченного доступа, не содержащей государственной тайны;
    Приказ об определении контролируемой зоны, в которой расположены узлы автоматизированной системы предназначенной чтобы обработки информации ограниченного доступа, не содержащей государственно тайны;
    Приказ о запрещении обработки информации ограниченного доступа для не аттестованных объектах информатизации
    Инструкцию по эксплуатации средств защиты информации объекта вычислительной техники;
    Инструкцию сообразно установке нового и модификации используемого программного обеспечения на автоматизированной системе обрабатывающей информацию ограниченного доступа;
    Инструкцию сообразно организации антивирусной защиты для автоматизированной системе обрабатывающей информацию ограниченного доступа;
    Инструкцию администратору информационной безопасности автоматизированной системы, обрабатывающей информацию ограниченного доступа;
    Инструкцию сообразно внесению изменений в списки пользователей и наделению их полномочиями доступа к ресурсам автоматизированной системы обрабатывающей информацию ограниченного доступа;
    Инструкцию сообразно организации парольной защиты автоматизированной системы;
    Инструкцию сообразно организации резервного копирования данных автоматизированной системы обрабатывающей информацию ограниченного доступа;
    Инструкцию пользователя автоматизированной системы.
    Матрицу доступа к защищаемым ресурсам автоматизированной системы;
    Технический свидетельство на АС;
    Журнал учета допуска к работе в автоматизированной системе обрабатывающей информацию ограниченного доступа;
    Книга учета и выдачи машинных носителей информации предназначенных ради хранения информации ограниченного доступа, не содержащей государственной тайны;
    Журнал учета средств защиты информации;
    Форму Заявки для внесение пользователей АС;
    Форму Акта проведения технических работ для объектах информатизации АС;
    Перечень сведений конфиденциального характера;
    Список защищаемых информационных ресурсов;
    Изображение технологического процесса обработки информации в выделенной локальной вычислительной сети;
    Схему коммутации выделенной локально вычислительной узы;
    Меню лиц, допущенных к самостоятельной работе в АС.

    Третий этап — закупка технических средств защиты информации.

Существенно переработаны действующие законодательные нормы, касающиеся трансграничной передачи персональных данных, мер по обеспечению безопасности персональных данных быть их обработке, прав и обязанностей оператора, взаимоотношений оператора и субъекта персональных данных.

    у которой два ПРОТИВОПОЛОЖНЫХ по своему значению полюса.

    Вы спросите – Этот Закон и есть Истина?
    Отвечаю – Нет, этот Закон еще не Истина, но он является ее
    ИСТИНООБРАЗУЮЩЕЙ – неотъемлемой частью: потому что этот Закон
    также очевидно подразумевает другой.
    Я же обещал вам, что вы увидите Истину (“лучше раз увидеть,
    чем сто раз услышать”) и сдержу свое слово.
    На этот раз, предлагаю отойти от зеркала и отправиться
    (мысленно, разумеется)… в цирк! 🙂
    Почему в цирк? Потому что только там можно сегодня найти
    “живого” канатоходца, который, демонстрируя на радость публике
    свое искусство, покажет нам Истину. Я бы мог показать вам
    Истину на чем угодно, но канатоходец – самый очевидный и всем
    известный пример.
    Если вы спросите нашего воображаемого канатоходца, который
    балансирует над пропастью, что для него является ДОБРОМ, он
    обязательно ответит – РАВНОВЕСИЕ. Почему? Потому что, утратив
    равновесие, он неминуемо упадет и…
    С помощью чего канатоходец поддерживает равновесие?
    Ответ также очевиден – с помощью балансировочного шеста,
    который он держит строго посередине. Вот она “Золотая Середина”
    Гаутамы Будды, которая делит балансировочный шест на ДВЕ РАВНЫЕ
    ПОЛОВИНЫ – Качественно Соответствующие друг другу (одинаковый
    вес) ПРОТИВОПОЛОЖНОСТИ.
    Другими словами, Закон Качественного Соответствия
    Противоположного подразумевает Закон Тождества (РАВНОВЕСИЯ)
    Противоположного. Если вы увидели СОСТОЯНИЕ РАВНОВЕСИЯ, в
    котором находится канатоходец под куполом цирка, значит, вы
    увидели Закон Тождества Противоположного, а еще увидели, что
    это состояние достигается только с помощью Качественного
    Соответствия Противоположного.
    Этот Закон мы называем Принципом Существования: потому что
    все существующее ТОЖДЕСТВЕННО и, наоборот, все, что прекращает
    свое существование, ПРОТИВОРЕЧИВО.
    Так вот о чем свидетельствовала симметрия, которую вы увидели
    в зеркале! Она свидетельствовала о том, что вы существуете.
    Сомневаетесь? Если сомневаетесь, представьте что будет с вами,
    если нарушится биологическое равновесие в вашем организме, или
    представьте, что будет с Солнечной Системой, если в ней
    нарушится равновесие – тождество (противоположных) центробежных
    и центростремительных сил. Все еще сомневаетесь?
    Если же вы это представили, то увидели действие Закона Эволюции,
    ОТРИЦАЮЩЕГО НЕСООТВЕТСТВИЕ ЕГО ПРОТИВОРЕЧИЕМ (неравновесием) И
    УТВЕРЖДАЮЩЕГО СООТВЕТСТВИЕ ЕГО ТОЖДЕСТВОМ.
    А еще вы увидели Истину, которая является СУЩНОСТЬЮ всего
    существующего. Вот почему Истина пронизывает все сущее и
    кажется нам непостижимой: так как “форма богаче сущности”,
    но если не будет сущности – не будет и формы. Ничего не будет.
    Я сдержал свое слово и “показал” вам Истину.
    Разумеется, вы еще не знаете (или знаете?) как использовать
    это знание. Поэтому пример его использования вы найдете на моей
    странице (в профиле) в статье о демократии.
    Ах, да. Этот Закон (Закон Эволюции) мы называем Принципом
    Правосудия: так как Природа отрицает несоответствие его
    противоречием, а Разум судит преступника его злом.
    А еще, вы теперь знаете, что есть добро и что есть зло.
