Today's lineup
Today’s lineup has a choose-your-own-adventure in it. Russell Martin got hit by a pitch on his hand last night and it’s pretty sore, so they’re waiting to see how he does at BP before deciding if he’ll start or Toby Hall will. Otherwise, it’s the same as yesterday. Stay tuned on the backstop.

This Arizona beanball business is getting ridiculous. 2 games so far this series- 2 more beanings.
I take it Izturis hasn’t returned with the club. So would he just wait until Friday when the team is back in town?
I’m going 10:1 in favor of Hall starting. Grady has to stop insisting on not resting Martin, and with no off-day until next Thursday, it wouldn’t hurt to give Toby Hall two starts in a row (Hendrickson pitches tomorrow).
I don’t like hall, go with old man Alomar. I think Izzy will stay home & wait for us there.
I think the only way to respond to the D-Backs’ beanings is to start Baez and let him go until we get to Estrada and Green – then plunk them both GOOD. I’m sure after that he’ll be excused for the evening, and Lowe can carry on.
Wow, SD loses in the 9th and SF wins in the 9th !! It’s a good day to pick up a game in the standings and stay even with SF.
Go Dodgers !!!
the mighty Hoffman fails to save the day! woo hoo!!
now let’s win Dodgers!
there something wrong with Drew, he’s become a worning track power guy! If he’s hurt just put him on the DL, & bring back Kemp.
my 2 cents.
if they score one more run I say plunk them, I mean COME ONE!! they pluked our boy Nomar 3 TIMES!!!
Ps it’s 5-0 D-backs.
Something needs to be done about the horrible road record of the Dodgers. In the 25 years of Dodger Fan-ness I can’t remember a team so night and day when it comes to home v. road. I might suggest an old-fashioned remedy. At the end of the next homestand, someone needs to go out behind Dodger Stadium and shovel dirt into mayonnaise jars and label them “Dodger Dirt”, the Dodgers can then take them on the road. Sure it may be superstitious nonsense, but in the least maybe it will change the mood on the bench.
Also in regards to Nomar being beaned 3 times, if Big D was still with us and pitching, a message, loud and clear, would have been sent to not only the D-Backs but to every team in the league and I bet Nomar would not get hit again!
