Inside the Dodgers 
That is just a huge black hole at the back end of the lineup. Martin needs to be batting sixth, or second, or…let’s face it, Cesar’s good defense at third doesn’t compensate for the lack of a bat in the lineup.
Josh, I think that’s the first time the lineup has said “Garciaparra” instead of “Nomar” in about a month. Getting formal with the all-star, I guess.
Time for Billingsley to get his first win.
Can you please start using Toby Hall? Martin good but you have huge bat sitting on the bench. Save the legs for the playoffs for both catchers. Play 2 games then 2 off. Let me know if you need help talking to Martin.
Anyone know anything about Dodger plans for Sergio Pedroza at Columbus? 19 HR, 70 RBI, OBP .442, OPS 1019, 84 K’s but 66 BB. Third round pick in 2005. 22 yrs old.
I would expect to see Martin rest more after the all-star break, and after Hall gets acquainted with the Dodger pitchers. But I have confidence in Grady Little’s ability to give a guy some rest.
