wo what is the prognosis on kent? did the mri come back with problems?
Not sure where he will play. Four rookies in the line up is pretty bold. Maybe Guzman's recall is intended to help him with confidence as several other kids are on the big team. Hope he does well.
It may be bold, but it's definitely very exciting. Furcal/Kemp/Nomar/Drew/Aybar/Guzman/Martin sounds like it will be a lot of fun to watch, even if it's not the best lineup the team can field, but I have a feeling it might be.
Of all our rookies,Guzman easily has the most potential as a hitter. His glove is another story, too bad we aren't in the AL (DH). Let's all hope Kent returns in his old form, our pennant hopes count on it. Now I'm just waiting to see Chad, and with our rotation suddenly sputtering, it could be sooner rather than later.
Another rookie...prepare for Ognil's wrath!!lol
Id rather watch this group of Diaper Dandies than the tired group of washed up veterans we saw last year, or that the Giants are continually running out.
I know some around here are very uncomfortable with so many unfamiliar names, but quite given recent Dodger history, isnt a little shake-up in order. And its not as if these guys dont know what their doing. They've been playing professional baseball for 3 years at the least and most of them have played on winning or championship teams in the minors, so it's not as if they don't "know how to win".
Well it's going to get interesting now !! What a great year to watch Dodger baseball !! If this truely is a preview of next year or the years to come we're in store for some really good and fun baseball.
Go Dodgers !!
I assume this means Guzman will share time at 3B with Saenz while Aybar sees the majority of time at 2B?
Can we come up with a better nickname than the Diaper Dandies?
Surprising, Grady lets Guzman rest the first game here (probably because he wasn't recalled in time to practice). Good to see Lofton getting rest.
Update: Aybar is at 2nd with Saenz at 3rd according to Gameday.
Well, the lineup was wrong. Saenz is at 3rd and Aybar is at 2nd. Why is Martinez listed above as in starting lineup?
also kemp batting second. wow, I also would rather see rookies play than watch last year over. I said earlier in the year it was hard rooting for the same old players failing to come through all the time. I said I hoped this year that we would see some of the kids get their
chances this year, but did not think we would see this many. hope to see billingsley
next. good luck tonight.
There is something to be said for Kemps bat speed. I think that ball left the yard before Vin could say Line-drive!!!!
where is he going to play? 3b/of?
