GO DODGERS!
Ray- sorry to hear your camera was stolen. You lost a lot of history right there. Must have been fun watching the prospects. By the way, having to wear Padre stuff could be worse. When I played little league ball I would have given my life to be on the Dodgers in Lunenburg. Guess who I got assigned to? -the Giants.
Hey Ray, I missed the draft completely, family obligation !!! What do I do from this point ??
Go Dodgers !!
gary, check your roster… right now you can already trade, and sing free agents…
its ok wearing padre blue, the kids are fun, and my little brother is killing the ball.. we finally won yesturday 15-4,
BELIEVE IN BLUE!
Alex, I owe you an apology. Thanks for the updates.
Certain things are becoming obvious, even though we’re only half way through Spring Training. Both La Roche and Kemp need to go and spend a year in Las Vegas; both need everyday practice in fielding and hitting. We need to find a place on the team for Bigbie and Valdez. Right now I would have more confidence in Billingsley and Kuo as starters than I do with Penny. Frankly I was wishing that Penny would be dealt somewhere in the off-season. Now I think we would be better off with him being dealt period, even if we only get a couple of well qualified prospects. Penny just shows me nothing, and he is the only guy I can think of that I wish off the team. I think that even Hendrickson has more potential to help us than Penny. Abreu has been a very pleasant surprise, and I look forward to him replacing Kent in another year or two. It’s great to see Ethier and Loney playing Spring ball like they have been. Not worrying about Martin, and I think that Betemit will come around. Pierre so far seems to be doing what one would expect. Overall I give a good rating to our Spring Training performance.
i know that Damian Jackson is not a reg. vet. low risk high reward type of player, but he had a slim shot at making the Dodgers, hits 125, watches Valdez shine, and he is furious that the Dodgers released him, He”ll have nothing to do with baseball.
see ya, don’t let the door hit you on your way to retiring very nicely on the money you have made playing baseball.
I am happy with the play of our prospects, the vets just take it slow in spring training, no worries for them yet, but Penny has to start getting better. Loney at first, Normar at third would be good. Would love to see bills and Kuo start, but unless a big trade happens, don’t see that happening.
lot of good problems with Bigbe, valdez playing so well.
the last couple of weeks could see some surprises(trades) coming. When in doubt, play a prospect.
valdez is really impressing me. He’s got speed and some pop. If furcal gets hurt he would be a solid replacement. Penny is starting to worry me a little bit. I know he’s working on some new pitches but i mean he’s gotta have a solid outing soon regardless if he’s working on new pitches.
Loney needs to be in the lineup! I think Nomar will get a start at third base this week.
it was nice to hear Repko’s injury wasn’t serious.
Tomko’s having a good spring. I like him for the #5 spot because of his ability to pitch from the bullpen. Also, if he does well in either role, it increases his value as trade bait. Not that I want to see Bills and Kuo at AAA, but it’s an idea.
Ken Gurnik has a nice mailbag today.
if tomko keeps having a good spring we should trade him for a right handed outfielder bat to platoon with gonzo

Interesting…Kuo had a positive test for stimulants before the WBC. Sounds like no big deal…but interesting.
Cold medicine doesn’t = performing enhancing drugs no big deal.
Boring blog today guys…no posts for many hours. Everyone dead tired from daylight savings time? I even tried to stir the pot with some controversy…come on. I depend on you guys for entertainment.
you should have joined my fantasy league puppyhead…
