OMG! i have been waiting almost 4 years for Andre’s bobble head to come out!!!
YAY…..FINALLY A BOBBLEHEAD FOR ANDRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
124 days until Andre’s Bobblehead night. I know…….I know…………I know, but I just can’t help it!!! However, looking good to see Brox, James and Matt getting one too.
We have to mark our calendars, Nellyjune!
A game a month, I think we can handle that 🙂
Trublu ~ I already have THAT one marked, but yes, the others ones would be good too, along with the ITD Tour of course (hint, hint Josh – lol).
Josh – thanks for the Bobblehead dates, the new thread, and putting up with us.
Can’t wait!
LOL!!!! Nice video enchanted 🙂
Damn time warp strikes again!
So the front office is trying to woo potential group and season ticket holders by intoducing them to a bunch of mostly no name prospects.
Guess those portable concession stands were’nt quite the inducement they thought they were…
Back to the ol’ think tank boys.

According to the Hot Stove, Pineiro, Padilla, Garland and now Looper are on the Dodgers radar.

ahh bobbleheads are a must for any baseball fan really! I know Cleveland makes some killer bobbleheads :D. Ooh I would like a Loney bobblehead though not a dodger fan hehe
Can’t wait until spring training starts cuz that just shows how close we really are to opening day!

IT IS ABOUT TIME! ANDRE ETHIER BOBBLE HEAD NIGHT IS ALSO ETHIERAHOLICS NIGHT! WOOOO HOOOO!
*
JOSH thanks for the updates on Bobble Head nights! So Kemp gets a 2nd night! I’m just happy Andre finally gets his Bobble Head night! So when do we get a special sneak peek of the Bobble Head?
*
OK May 18th has been marked on my CALENDAR! See ya all there!
Finally Andre gets one 🙂 the rumors were true! See you all there.
BTW the link to vote is not working.
Ummmmmm…..mathematics memo to Frank. Four bobble heads does NOT equal one decent starting pitcher for the rotation. Just check out your season ticket sales………….
You mean Ortiz isn’t the answer, Kahli! lol
And, Yay, all the Ethieraholics can finally unite!!!!!!
And four bubbleheads don’t equal one decent front office Kahli!!!
Ah yes, the strategy of losers and wannabes… out wait all the other teams to pick out of what’s left just before ST. We like to call it the “cream of the crap” strategy.
Anyone get the thought process behind signing Kemp for two years when he has three years left of arbitration? Isn’t the whole point of a multiple year deal to buyout their arbitration years and the first 2-3 of their FA years? If you’re not going to do that, what’s the point? You’ve already got control over him, and you might only be saving $2-3 mil from one year to the next this way. That’s chump change when you’re billionaire owner Frank McCourt.
Woohoo! BBH for Andre, Loney, Jonathan and Kemp! Kemp already got one but that is OK. Love them all! Can’t wait to put them along with the rest on my display! Wish Vin Scully would agree on a BBH.

“Cream of the Crap”………….love it, Enchanted!!!!
Yeah! Season ticket sales are several thousand below last year – get the message, you “Cream of the Crap”!
That’s the perfect description for our ownership as well, E.
Don’t you just love this idea of Frank hiding behind Mannion? Can’t hide crap, however – we all know who and where you are F’ing Frank.
Port-A-Potty Mannion is the King of the Crappers, which makes Frank the Grand PoopBah.
.
Ned’s the guy who cleans them out.
3000 former season ticket holders can’t be wrong.
Dnelly or anyone that subscribe to the Dodger magazine,
I usually get the mag at the stadium but I am not sure how many we get during the season. Anyone knows?
Not sure if should add it to my season ticket payment that is due tomorrow. I remember that when the Dynamic duo issue came out, I bought it at the stadium before the subscribers here got it. Subscription is $40 and single issues are $5 plus tax. We started paying tax on the magazine in 2009.
Thanks
Emma

Remember, Frank……………Money is like manure….does no good unless you spread it around.
From the homepage about our boys in arbitration………

Normally I would be upset with Andre not being close to a deal, but knowing how some of you feel about multi-year contracts at this stage, then I am all for him doing what’s best for him because I doubt it’s the other way around.
It would be nice, though, Nellyjune, for Andre to be the “Face” of our franchise. I’d love him to be with us as long as possible.
I would like nothing better to see Andre and Matt be the face of the Dodgers, but I think it’s up to the Dodgers to make that happen. I guess we will find out soon enough.
The only way today’s Dodger management will sign Andre for more than one year is IF THEY CAN SCREW HIM. So, just take what you can get in arbitration, Andre, and SCREW THEM BACK. Piece of crap – Frank, Mannion and Ned – each and every one.
SELL THE TEAM!!!
They are both becoming very popular…..well overdo, I might add! We used to have “Franchise Players” and it was nice to know certain players would be there for a long time. Now, you are skeptical of buying a shirt with a player’s name on it…he may only be on our team for one season.
Messagebear – I think you have hit it once again. Andre went through this last year and sees how petty they can be over a small amount (comparatively, of course). He did exactly what they didn’t think he would do last season – kick some serious asss in the league, and instead of paying him last year like they should have ( because they didn’t trust his abilities), he is going to make sure the make up for it this year. As much as they want to think Manny is the name of our franchise, he’s not anymore. It’s Andre and Matt (and the rest of the young guns) who are the franchise now. We have been saying that all along…………….the young guns are the future dynasty. Well, it’s time to pay for that future dynasty. Oh, forgot……………………there’s no money to pay for the future dynasty.
SELL THE TEAM!!!!!!!
The only future Frank is thinking about is March and how much he can charge for premium and single game tickets.
Sad to say, but I am afraid so enchanted, and I think the players know that too, at least the ones that know they are worth more than what Frank is willing to pay (possibly now, but certainly in the future).
We have our own version of March Madness, don’t we?
The Frank Song
.
Well our boys were driving their way to the pennant last October
When you and your wife decided to have a fight
I decided this had no place in Dodgerland
So I wrote a song about it, and it goes like this
.
Were you born an a**hole
Or did you work in it your whole life
Either way it worked out fine cause you?re an a**hole tonight
.
Yes you?re an A-*-*-H-O-L-E and don?t try to blame on the economy
You deserve all the credit, you?re an a**hole tonight
.
You were an a**hole yesterday, and you?re an a**hole tonight
And I?ve got a feeling you?ll be an a**hole the rest of your life
.
And I was talking to the Cleaver brothers, just the other night
I told them “I think you?re an a**hole”, and they said ” Yes I think your right!”
.
And all your friends are a**holes, cause you?ve known them your whole life
And somebody told me ?You?ve got an a**hole for a wife
.
Were you born an a**hole
Or did you work in it your whole life
Either way it worked out fine cause you?re an a**???..hole tonight!!!!
.
SELL THE TEAM FRANK!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great song Dodger4life!!!!!
Any thoughts enchanted?
Can’t put my finger on it, but something tells me Frank has a PR problem on his hands as well as being broke…
Now onto serious business…
.
Who do you want starting once a week and being a defensive replacement for Manny in the 7th, 8th and 9th – Repko or Paul?
If Repko stays healthy, then having him around on a more consistent basis would be good to see, but I have no problems with Paul, if he deems worthy for the job when spring training is over. However, knowing how Joe seems to lean towards veterans, then I am guessing the job is Repko’s as long as he his healthy when the time comes.
X….marks the spot!
Tough call Nells.
.
As strictly a defensive replacement I’d go with Repko. Monkeywizc will get the LH PH ABs, and I assume “veteran” Carroll will get the RH PH ABs, so Repko’s weak bat won’t be as huge a factor coming off the bench. Plus he does have great speed to be a PR.
.
Paul would definitely benefit from playing everyday in AAA. But, if Manny takes another vacation, I’d want him in the line-up everyday over Repko.
.
Comes down to those 2-3 starts every two weeks. I just don’t think Repko can hit ML pitching – he has way too much trouble making contact. I’d have to go with Paul as #4. Repko’s a better defender, but Paul’s a superior hitter and I think Manny won’t play just enough that we could use the extra bat.
I vote Repko…but I read where the Dodgers might be looking for a PVL solution at 4th outfielder. Translation: Grandpa Joe wants to tie up salary with a comfortable has-been. Repko should have made the club coming out of Spring Training in ’08…he hit over .300 and Joe even told him he’d earned it…but, alas, Joe wanted the hippo and noodle arm on the team, as well as those pests, Ethier and Kemp. So Repko was sent down. He got hurt, etc., etc. Repko will be out of options, soon. Why not give him until at least the All-Star break to show his stuff? He’s a GREAT defensive outfielder. Why go dumpster diving for a back-up?
Why doesn’t that surprise me Kahli?
.
Its bad enough they want to go cheap, but rather than go cheap prospects, they’ll go cheap washed-up crap instead.
Good points gentlemen.
Good Friday Morning ITDland ~ I tried for a long time to get a post on last night. Got so many submission errors and it was getting on my nerves. It was beginning to get late, so I gave up. I would love to go one entire day without seeing the infamous “SUBMISSION ERROR”.
.
I think Paul and Repko should be given an equal opportunity to win the spot. However, I think right now I’d prefer Paul……my thinking is Dre, Matty and Xavier would be a cool outfield 🙂
.
I also think Enchanted’s phrase “Cream of the Crap” will be used frequently!
