If all goes well, Loney’s last night with the big club for a while. Here’s hoping he has a good night and goes home happy.
I agree, I hope Loney has a big night, a night to remember, and A reminder that he is just about ready for the big leagues.
Well as you all know he went 2 for 4 with a really solid double (I thought it was gonna be a HR)good way to go out.
What’s the current status of Cody Ross ??
Don’t know if anyone noticed but the devil rays just called up Edwin Jackson to the majors today!
Edwin Jackson report:
7IP, 7K, 5R, 3HA, 6BBI, 1HR
Did not take the loss because the D-rays rallied back to tie in the top of the ninth, and then gave up a walk-off RBI.
Basically, if he threw a few more strikes (55 of 108 were strikes), he would have been dominating.
Hey, I wish Jackson well, but I would make that trade again, without hesitation.
Jackson might blossom into a servicable big league pitcher and maybe even a number 2 or 3 starter, but it was never really going to happen with LA.
Kinda reminds me of the hype that surround Karim Garcia for what seemed like a decade. Garcia was always prsented as a can’t miss prospect, who just never lived up to the expectations.
